Shining in Moscow | EK Lights Up the 2026 Russian National Television Awards
In June 2026, ТЭФИ, Russia’s National Television Award, was held in Moscow. As one of the most prestigious events in the Russian television industry, ТЭФИ is widely regarded as a key annual benchmark for professional broadcasting and television production. This year’s ceremony brought together leading media professionals from across Russia, with more than 50 nominated productions covering major categories including current affairs, entertainment, and drama series. EK professional lighting fixtures supported the event with refined visual quality for this high-profile national cultural ceremony.
Founded in 1994 and organized by the Russian Television Academy Foundation, ТЭФИ has long recognized outstanding achievements in Russian television. With official live broadcast coverage and strong industry attention, the ceremony placed demanding requirements on stage visuals, lighting stability, color rendering, and camera-friendly performance. For this production, EK provided a professional lighting solution with four key fixture types, supporting the multi-scene requirements of live broadcast and recording.
MC15 Full-Spectrum Profile Moving Head played a central role in the overall lighting design. As one of the main fixtures for the ceremony, MC15 features a six-color full-spectrum light source with high color rendering performance, delivering natural skin tones, accurate costume colors, and clean camera images for broadcast applications. Its high output and wide zoom range also supported precise stage framing, key lighting, and close-up coverage, while its stable, flicker-free performance helped maintain a polished visual quality throughout the event.
R2 and R3 BEAM WASH Zoom LED Beam Wash Moving Heads served as the main fixtures for atmosphere and dynamic stage effects. Working together, the two fixture types provided both large-area wash coverage and mid-air beam effects. They allowed smooth transitions between soft atmospheric looks and sharp beam effects, while consistent color mixing across multiple fixtures helped adapt the stage image to different award segments and visual moods.
Collider Bar IP Waterproof Full-Color LED Strobe Bar added further detail and intensity to the stage environment. Installed around the stage background and stair areas, the pixel-controllable strobe bars created flowing gradients, matrix strobe effects, and dynamic pixel patterns. These effects enriched the horizontal visual structure of the stage and enhanced overall depth, while the IP-rated durable structure ensured stable output during long hours of continuous operation.
